(4) EXCHANGE STEP BY STEP 1.. You have been allocated and exchange position and AU nominates you to the host university. 2.. You receive information (AU email) from the host university (or AU) on how to apply for admission. 3.. You will receive an email with names and email of fellow BSS students going to the same exchange host universities as you. 4.. You apply for admission as an exchange student to the host university (typically this includes application for housing, visa, etc.) – follow the host university guidelines and deadlines!. 5.. You apply for admission to courses at your host university. 6.. You apply for pre-approval of courses to your Aarhus BSS Study Board at https://mitstudie.au.dk/. 7.. (10) LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS Aarhus BSS and the IU have negotiated best possible terms with the host university. Check MoveOn in order to find out what documentation your host university requires. •. If a language letter from Aarhus BSS International is sufficient it will be stated in MoveOn.. •. Check your BTECH study portal for information on previously assessed courses, and read Travel Reports in MoveON in order to find tips and advices from previous exchange students Normally, your course enrolment is not binding, but check with your host university in order to be sure and sign up for courses, that seem realistic to get pre-approved. 5. 6..
