Søren Kierkegaard Literature 1992-1993.

A Bibliography

A a g e J ø r g e n s e n

Preface

The present compilation of literature on Søren Kierkegaard updates the following publications: [1] Søren Kierkegaard-littera- tur 1961-1970: En foreløbig bibliografi, År

hus, 1971; [2] Søren Kierkegaard-litteratur 1971-1980: En bibliografi, Århus, 1983 (repaginated off-print from Kierkegaardia- na, 12, 1982, pp. 129-235); [3] “Søren Kier

kegaard Literature 1981-1991: A Biblio

graphy”, in Kierkegaardiana, 16, 1993, pp.

166-239.

The compilation was made to a great ex

tent on the basis of current bibliogra

phies. Whenever possible, entries were verified by checking the works in ques

tion. Entries which could not be verified in this way are marked with an asterisk, in which case the source is normally one of the following bibliographies: MLA Inter

national Bibliography; International Philo

sophical Bibliography; The Philosopher’s Index; Religion Index One/Periodicals', Religion Index Two/Multi-Author Works;

Humanities Index.

Calvin D. Evans’ Søren Kierkegaard Biblio

graphies: Remnants, 1944-1980, and Multi- Media, 1925-1991, Montreal, 1993, called my attention to some omissions in the three bibliographies mentioned above.

Those missing items have now been in

cluded. For books and articles 1 could not personally verify, the Evans number is quoted in [ ].

The material is ordered alphabetically according to author’s name. In cases where several contributions are listed for one author, those entries are placed in chronological order. Critiques, reviews, etc., are generally listed along with the works with which they deal. Collections are (with a few exceptions) treated in the same way as other books and alphabet

ized according to the name of the editor.

Additions to the bibliography include:

Appendix 1: Editions of Søren Kierke

gaard’s own works which also contribute to the literature on him through their in

troductions, postscripts, commentaries, etc.

Appendix 2: Additions and corrections to entries in the previously published biblio

graphies.

Appendix 3: Film.
