Sundhedsmæssig risikovurdering af indholdet af DEET i blåbær

Fødevarestyrelsen har bedt DTU Fødevareinstituttet om at foretage en sundhedsmæssig risikovurdering af indholdet af DEET i blåbær (0,055 mg/kg i frosne blåbær).

DEET (N,N-Diethyl-3-methylbenzamid eller diethyltoluamid) er ikke et godkendt pesticid, hvorfor der ikke er fast en MRL eller ADI / ARfD. Stoffet er et godkendt aktivstof til brug i myggemidler. Der foreligger en Assessment Report (AR 2010) udarbejdet mhp. optagelse af DEET på Annex 1 til Biociddirektivet. I denne rapport er der fastsat en såkaldt AELacute på 0,75 mg/kg lgv.

Med følgende forudsætninger udgøre det akutte indtag 0,03 % af ARfD:

1. Indhold på 0,055 mg/kg i frosne blåbær 2. Indholdet i friske og frosne bær er identisk 3. Der bruges EFSAs PRIMo vers. 3 til beregning

4. Det højeste akutte konsum for blåbær i EU (97,5 percentilen) 5. ARfD = AELacute er 0,75 mg/kg lgv

Konklusion:

Det påviste indhold udgør ikke en akut sundhedsmæssig risiko ved indtagelse af de pågældende blåbær.
