WHY CHINA?

China is one of the world’s fastest growing economies and will soon rival the United States as the largest economy in the world.

China is investing heavily in education these years and is on its way to becoming an important R&D center for many of the world’s high-tech industries.

China is a vast country with a broad range of social, envi- ronmental and economic challenges, making China an ideal place to gain experience.

SUPPORT FROM THE DANISH SDC SECRETARIAT

China is far away and therefore, SDC helps stu- dents deal with the practical details of studying in China:

• ACCOMMODATION: Students can choose to stay at the UCAS’ student dorms or find ac- commodation in Beijing independently

• VISA: The Danish SDC secretariat will provide you with the necessary documents from China and guide you through the visa application procedure

• INTRO MEETINGS: The Danish SDC secretari- at will invite all new students to attend intro- ductory meetings before departure to China

• ASSISTANCE IN CHINA: The SDC office in Beijing has both Danish and Chinese staff ready to help you with daily challenges

OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS AT SDC

• SDC works closely together with companies and organi- zations in China to offer students project work, intern- ships and relevant work experience

• Students at SDC are offered extracurricular Chinese language courses

• Students at SDC will be part of an international learning environment studying together with Chinese and inter- national students

ALL SDC MASTER’S PROGRAMMES

• Are two-years Master’s Programmes (120 ECTS)

• Are double-degree Programmes.

• Qualify for the Danish state educational support (SU)

• Are taught in English by Danish and Chinese teachers

• Take place in Beijing, China Studying in China is an excellent opportunity to explore

Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research (SDC) in Beijing offers seven unique Master’s Programmes jointly developed by Danish and Chinese research environments:
