ABB – Power and Productivity for a better World. ABB is a leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility and industry customers to improve performance while lowering environmental impact. The ABB Group of companies operates in around 100 countries and employs about 110,000 people. ABB supplies a vast range of advanced power and automation technologies to enhance industrial productivity, including electrical motors and machines, power transformers and switchgear, drives and power electronics, SCADA systems, low-voltage products, instrumentation, control systems and robotics. At ABB, we engineer performance and energy savings into every product. Whether we’re helping a factory run more productively or equipping a power plant with state-of-the-art control systems and electrical equipment, our goal is to increase efficiency and energy savings and at the same time reduce costs. And sustainability is at the core of ABB’s business. One of our main contributions lies in the strong environmental performance of our products over their complete life cycles. Using life cycle assessments, we supply products and systems that require less material, have greater efficiency and consume less energy, which means less harmful emissions – particularly during long operating lifetimes.See presentation page 26-27

AllSun A/S, Brundtland Center Danmark, Brundtlandparken 2, 6520 Toftlund, +4573831700, www.allsun.dk

AllSun A/S develops and manufactures intelligence energy controllers mainly for solar thermal systems in buildings requiring the production of hot domestic water as well as control of heat circuits and boilers. The energy controller allows via a connection to GSM or the internet a transfer of the collected data, remote control and monitoring of operation and interactive communication. The technology of the controllers for solar thermal systems are based on the experience gained through several years of development and application of concepts in the former company PentaCom A/S, which developed and manufactured the first wireless control system for floor heating in the world. PentaCom A/S was sold to s A/S in 2002 and several years of experience and developing activities concerning solar energy were concentrated in AllSun A/S, which was established early 2003. It is our goal to use our knowledge and experiences to develop the concepts of the future for intelligent controllers to be used in the solar thermal and cooling industry. We want to play an important part in the development of intelligent energy-saving controller technology which is result-oriented with regard to reducing heat and energy consumption. These optimized products paired with intelligent energy-saving products can increase the effectiveness of the whole energy system and at the same time reduce CO2 emission.See presentation page 28-29

Eurotec West A/S, Gunnar Clausenvej 11, 8260 Viby J, +4586721422, www.eurotec.dk

Eurotec West A/S is a company with extensive experience in building CHP plants on natural gas. In connection with the demands for more use of renewable energy from various biomasses, the company has co-operated with the consulting engineering company Carl Bro A/S, among others, about the development and application for a patent on a hydrolyse system that result in a larger part of the biomasses being converted into methane gas than with traditional plants. A selective hydrolyse system can be implemented into an already existing biogas plant / municipal sewage treatment plant or it can be part of a new plant. Hydrolyse has a significant effect on for example slurry from farming and sludge from sewage treatment plant. With the hydrolysis process, it is possible to extract a large part of the ammonia, which result in less leaching of nitrogen into nature in connection with distribution on the fields. Eurotec West A/S handles the sale of the WESTCOME heat exchangers, which has been designed especially for treatment of sludge / slurry, but also other corrosion- aggressive substances as well as substances where the temperature are high and where there is a demand for higher pressure than usually.

Green Farm Energy A/S af 2. juli 2004, Løjstrupvej 12a, 8870 Langå, +4570252755

Green Farm Energy (GFE) has developed and put in practice an overall solution on treatment and utilization of waste products from industry and agriculture. The GFE-Concept is based on a unique pre-treatment and nitrogen stripping technology that is world wide protected by patent. The GFE solution comply in with the demands from politicians and the wishes from industry and agriculture on sustainability and feasible production by processing solid and liquid organic waste in to environ-mental and CO2 neutral energy resources. The size of a GFE plant can be adapted to the availability of organic waste and bio masse and be profitable with 1.4 MWel + 1.7 MWheat output as a minimum. If post-treatment by separation is added then the GFE-Concept offers an optimal solution on recovery and recirculation of nutrients back to the soil and in this way use of chemical fertilizer is reduced or avoided. This makes the GFE-Concept unique and when integrated in an overall plan on local level it will as a “core piece in domino“ opens up for “ Waste to Resource” solutions including waste handling and utilization, sewage treatment, wood waste, straw and bio masse.
