Baggrundsnotat om koblingen mellem Exiobase og Danmarks Statistiks IO-tabeller

Til beregningen af Danmarks forbrugsbaserede klimaaftryk bliver data fra Exiobase koblet med data fra Danmarks Statistik (DST). Emissionsfaktorer fra Exiobase bliver anvendt til at beregne udledningerne fra dansk import. Exiobase er på nuværende tidspunkt inddelt i 163 branchekategorier, hvorimod IO-tabellerne fra DST er inddelt i 117 brancher. Der er derfor et behov for at parre Exiobase- brancherne med de 117 brancher fra DST. Til det er der blevet lavet en overensstemmelsesmatrice.

Både Danmarks Statistiks (DST) brancher og Exiobase-brancherne er på forhånd holdt op imod NACE/Eurostat’s 65 brancheinddeling.

Tabel 1 i bilaget præsenterer, hvordan brancherne fra Exiobase og DST er matchet op imod hinanden i overensstemmelse med brancherne fra NACE/Eurostat. Når de 163 brancher fra Exiobase skal matches med de 117 brancher kan man komme ud for fire forskellige tilfælde:

1. Et én-til én match – en Exiobasekategori matcher en DST branche 2. Et én til mange match – én Exiobasekategori matcher flere DST brancher 3. Et mange til én match – flere Exiobasekategorier matcher én DST branche 4. Mange til mange match – flere Exiobasekategorier mather flere DST

brancher

I tilfælde to, tre og fire er det påkrævet at lave en kvalitativ vurdering af, hvilke brancher der skal parres med hinanden fra Exiobase og de danske brancher.

Parringen ligger til grund for udviklingen af emissionsfaktorer for importen.

Emissioner relateret til produktionen i Danmark er udelukkende baseret på data fra DST. De vægtede emissionsfaktorer for importen er beregnet ud fra import- og emissionsdata fra Exiobase i hhv. mio. EUR og ton CO2e og bliver som sidste step koblet med DSTs import IO-tabel.
